Stemify respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Our Terms of Service require users to represent and warrant that they own or have obtained all necessary rights to any audio files they upload to the Service.
Stemify is a neutral, automated audio processing tool. It separates audio tracks into component stems (vocals, drums, bass, other) using AI. Stemify does not host, distribute, or publicly perform audio content. All uploaded and processed files are stored temporarily (maximum 24 hours) and are accessible only to the user who uploaded them.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to upload and process any audio content through the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, ownership of the recording, a valid license from the rights holder, or a legally recognized exception (e.g., personal use under applicable copyright law).
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that content processed through Stemify infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to us containing the following information:

Note that due to the 24-hour automatic deletion policy, infringing files may have already been permanently deleted by the time we receive a complaint. In such cases, we will still take note of the complaint for the purpose of identifying repeat infringers.
Stemify maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. If a user is the subject of multiple valid copyright complaints, we may permanently terminate their account without refund.
If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted in error or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [CONTACT_EMAIL] with a description of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your contact information. We will evaluate counter-notices on a case-by-case basis.
